Keros Beach is arguably the most famous beach in Lemnos, especially for watersports enthusiasts. Stretching for over 4 kilometers on the eastern side of the island, it’s a world-renowned spot for kiteboarding and windsurfing due to its consistent Meltemi winds and diverse conditions (flat water in some areas, small waves in others). The beach is well-organized with several surf schools offering lessons, rentals, and facilities. Despite its popularity for watersports, its immense size ensures there’s plenty of space for swimmers and sunbathers who prefer a more relaxed experience. It’s located near the significant wetland of Alyki, adding to its natural appeal.
